New Alternate Green #16

The new alternate green on 16th is well underway with the bunkers done, the irrigation done and mix going in today and tomorrow.  We will then construct the adjoining par 3 green starting tomorrow.  This will be a new green complex that will allow us to use alternate par 3 holes on the back and also alternate greens on the 16th hole.  The plan is to just construct the greens now, let them grow for the next 12-18 months and then this off season complete the tees, the alternate fairway and rerouting the cart path.

New Steps in Bunker Behind 12 Green

Roberto and Pedro doing a great job on the new steps we added to the bunker we just built behind the 12th green.  This will offer better access in and out of the bunker.

New Tee Complex Completed on 16

The new tee complex on 16 has been completed.  We were able to reuse sod from the old tees and take some from the 17th fairway.  The new tees have been arranged so the yardage will play the same to our current 16th green or the new one we are building now.  The new tees should be fully open in another week or two.

Tree Removals on Old 7 Par 3

The Sweetgum trees we removed on the old 7th abandoned par 3 were removed to make way for a new green complex.  The trees were completely hollow and this has been the case with most of the trees we already removed in this area.
