The area to the left of the driveway may look unsightly but it is actually full of milkweed. Not only does this plant have a great fragrance and a lot of flowers it is a perfect breeding sight for monarch butterflies. The bottom picture is a cocoon we took from one of the plants that will morph into a butterfly in the coming weeks. Where most of the time this weed would be killed now there is a push to preserve it and allow it to do its thing.
